Our meals are made from local raw materials with recipes based on local traditions and they are served with story telling and legends.

Lighthouse Chiefs breakfast, including

  • tea/coffee, juice

  • oatmeal porridge served traditionally with sugar and dab of butter

  • yoghurt, sour whole milk and "talkkuna" flour

  • raw salted whitefish (lavaret/powan/gwyniad/pollan), spiced fish or some other fish

  • cold cuts

  • vegetables or fruits

  • boiled eggs

  • brown and white bread with spreading 

 Evening snacks:

  •  Crepes with jam or sugar

  • Blinis with whitefish roe, onion and sour cream

  • Broiled Baltic herring and rye bread

Main courses:

  • "Mojakka" made from whitefish,boiled potatoes

  • Poachers salmon soup

  • Islets smoked whitefish,boiled potatoes with melted butter

  • Lighthouse island roasted mutton,roasted potatoes with garlic,wild mushroom sauce

  • Fried whitefish filets,boiled potatoes,egg and butter sauce

  • Islet kings roasted fish

  • Baltic herring casserole in the lighthouse grannies way
